VIVA

VIVA is an Arts and Crafts retailer based in the beautiful Scottish highland town of Pitlochry in Perthshire. VIVA in Pitlochry is centrally located to meet the needs of the arts and crafts community of rural highland Perthshire including Aberfeldy, Blair Atholl, Ballinluig, Dunkeld and Birnam. With easy access from the A9 VIVA is ideally situated for tourists and day trippers from surrounding towns and villages and from further afield.

We are very easy to find -the shop is a just a few yards off the main shopping street of the town.

Products

Paper Crafting

Our main supplier is Do Crafts, providing a comprehensive range of supplies for card making and scrap booking. Anitas stamps, papermania stickers, X cut punches and die cutters feature, together with a mouth watering selection of papers and card, and all the tools and adhesives you require. Many items are available to try before you buy.

Painting

Winsor and Newton supplies our paint, brushes, canvases and sketch pads. We have oils, acrylic, Cotman watercolour and artists watercolour as well as the full range of Conte sketching pencils and pastels. Also check out their paper and card available in 30 colours and in either A4 or A1 size, as well as mount board in 20 popular colours. If you don’t see what you need, please ask, as we are happy to order items for local customers

Polymer clay

Staedtler provide us with Fimo in blocks or in small kits ideal for children. Check out their website (or Sculpey’s ) for project ideas and instructions.

Pens

We can offer a good selection of pens, from inexpensive fibre tips for children, and Staedtler’s fine liners to luscious gel pens from Sakura. Also available are dipping pens (italic or drawing) and special inks to go with them.

Beads

We have packs of the Bead Café range of glass beads and findings in a range of colours, so you should find something to match that outfit. We also stock inexpensive books showing you how to put simple jewellery items together.

New Products

Earlier this year we visited two major crafting exhibitions and as a result we are delighted now to be stocking some exciting new products.

We now stock Flowersoft which many of you will have seen demonstrated on TV. We are happy to let customers try it before buying.

Also now available is the Lili of the Valley range of die cut fairies, dragons & unicorns, complete with matching backing papers.

We have Card-io tapestry stamps which allow the stamper to create intricate pictures and borders with ease.

The full range of Tulip fabric paints is now stocked. This features metallic, glitter, pearl and other paints in easy applicator tubes for decorating fabric, glass, metal and other surfaces.

Finally from the exhibitions, for those who like to build things we have a range of Timberkits self assembly mechanical kits. These come complete with all materials required and with various degrees of difficulty in assembly can provide an enjoyable challenge to the assembler.

In May we started to stock some Products from the Derwent pencil company. We now stock 36 colours of the Derwent Inktense range. This range of pencils gives water soluble colour which after a water wash leaves a permanent ink-like effect. For those who like to travel and sketch we stock the Derwent range of Soft Touch and Floral Pink journals. They will provide an ideal memento those holiday sights .....

Also hot off the press is that we are going to stock some of the Create and Craft range. You may have seen Create and Craft on television. They now want to build up a number of retail suppliers and VIVA are pleased to be the one for the Pitlochry area. We will update the wensite when we get the stock in so keep checking.

Original Art
